    I am humbled and filled with immense gratitude as I share a milestone that is very close to my heart. Earlier this week, our book Celebration (2022), published through the Sealaska Heritage Institute's Baby Raven Reads program, was the recipient of the American Indian Youth Literature Award (AIYLA), Picture Book Honor.

    Being named alongside such talented individuals, whom I have long admired and looked up to, feels surreal.
